HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT COMB FOR A CURLY BEARD

WHICH COMB SHOULD I USE FOR A MEDIUM TO COARSE BEARD?
The Double Comb is a good choice. The larger teeth with wider spacing are great for untangling a slightly curlier beard without damaging the strands.
There is another option that I really like: the Fork Comb. It has bigger teeth and even more spaced. That’s why it is ideal for those who have a longer beard and curlier hairs.
It detangles very well. And you can use it in conjunction with a fine-toothed comb after detangling to align the strands even more.
CAN A BEARD BE WASHED DAILY?
It all depends on the shampoo you are using. There’s even a legend that you can’t wash your beard every day because it dries and irritates the skin. If you are using normal hair shampoo this is true.
Hair shampoo is made for the scalp and when used on the face it removes an important layer of your natural moisture.
That’s why the ideal is a good shampoo specifically for beards. Look for one that is regulated for the face, with physiological pH.
It also has a greater power of hydration to account for the thicker and drier beard hair. A shampoo like this is safe for you to use every day, even more than once a day, all over your face.
FOR THOSE WHO HAVE A THIN FACE, DOES A SPARTAN BEARD LOOK GOOD?
Longer, more pointed beards that are lower on the sides help elongate the face. The Spartan beard is one of these. This doesn’t mean that those who already have a thin face can’t use it. It can look great, yes.
There is no right or wrong here. The best thing you can do is to experiment and see if YOU like it. That’s the most important thing.
DOES MASTURBATION AFFECT THE GROWTH OF THE BEARD?
Look, if it affected me in any way I wouldn’t have any hair on my face. 😅
Testosterone can influence your libido yes and thereby increase masturbation, but it doesn’t come out in semen let alone affect beard growth, rest assured.
I HAVE USED TONICS FOR GROWTH AND NOTHING IS REDUCING THE FLAWS. ANY TIPS
The best tip I can give you is to consult a dermatologist. There’s no way, man.
Many of the tonics and even medicines can work, yes, but each case is unique. And only a doctor can recommend the right treatment for you.
WHY DO CERTAIN BEARDS GROW STUBBY?
I think to a certain extent they all grow spiky at some point. Beard hair is naturally thicker and harder.
And when it’s at a certain size starting to grow, it still doesn’t have the weight or length to settle on the face and that’s why it looks spiky.

WHAT TO DO WHEN THE BARBER FUCKS UP
Well… the first thing I wouldn’t do is change barber just for that.
It could be that your vision was different from his and he ended up taking off more than you wanted or with a slightly different cut.
The relationship with the barber needs to be a longer term one, because we can’t always get through everything we would like and wouldn’t like to do at once.
And I use today’s mistake to be the right one next time, telling the guy what he did and what I’d like to be different. Having a photo of yourself with the beard the way you like to keep it is always a good reference. From the front and from the side. And for the rest, relax that it will grow again.
DO YOU HAVE ANY TECHNIQUE TO FIX THE BEARD AFTER USING THE MASK?
I’ve created the habit that when I arrive somewhere wearing a mask and I’m going to take it off, I take advantage of the fact that I’m going to wash my hands and wash my face, soak and shave.
And I almost always have a travel beard balm with me. A little balm and a comb easily solves the beard crease.
If I can’t wash my face, just the balm with a dry beard and the comb solve it too.
But in general I don’t mind a little bit of a crumpled beard because of a mask. I think it’s more elegant than the beard of someone who’s not wearing a mask.
